8.06.2015 Netball

On Monday 8th June the Year 4 Netball Club headed to Chudleigh Knighton to play in a couple of matches. Both teams played well and enjoyed the experience of a 'proper' high 5 game. The progress made by all the children was really great and I hope they continue with netball next September. Well done boys and girls.

2.06.2015 Cricket success and superstars!

On Tuesday 2nd June, Rydon Primary School were asked to play an exhibition match against local rivals St Michael's as part of Peter Trego's testimonial match at South Devon Cricket Club. Somerset brought down a strong team with Chris Gayle, the international West Indian batsman attending to cheer on his team.

Rydon's match saw some excellent bowling and batting from both teams, with St Michael's putting a competitive total of 237 on the board. However, thanks to some great batting from all the team, Rydon emerged victorious. Peter Trego and Chris Gayle presented the trophy and certificates to the Rydon players, which was an amazing memory that I am sure they will remember for a very long time.
