On Wednesday 19th November, the Rydon Boys Cricket Team travelled to Paignton to compete in an indoor tournament. The first game saw Rydon narrowly defeated by 7 runs with South Brent the victors. The next game saw an ever improving Rydon side win by 62 runs against All Saints. Rydon finished second in their group and were then put into the play-off group for 4th, 5th and 6th respectively. Their next match was against Canada Hill and some great fielding and bowling saw Canada Hill restricted to 208 runs. Rydon were quickly on the offensive with the bat and scored a massive 260 runs. Broadhempston were the next opponents and some more great batting saw Rydon emerge victorious. The boys had a great day and did Rydon proud. Well done.
