6.07.2015 Year 5/6 Boys Cricket

On Monday 6th July, our boys cricket team competed against other schools in the Partnership competition. Rydon played three matches and won them all as did another team. With both teams on maximum points, it came down to run rate! Exminster scored 725 runs in their three matches and Rydon scored a respectable 698 runs, meaning that we finished runners-up. The boys played brilliantly and a great afternoon was had. Well done boys!

30.06.2015 Athletics Success!

Well done to the Year 5/6 Athletics Team who won the Sports Partnership Finals! Rydon had qualified for the finals where they competed against ten other finalists. It was a warm day and the children competed brilliantly. Even more impressive was the fact that the Year 5/6 team were also awarded the 'Spirit of the Games' award by the other teams who had voted!

Well done to the Year 3/4 Athletics Team who finished third in the finals at Stover. The Children were brilliant and a great day was had. Rydon athletics is in good hands!

A big thank you to all parents who helped with transport and stayed to support the teams it was greatly appreciated.
